It’s time for a rebranding. Grace Files will have a new title and book covers, the website a new look. While erotica remains a significant element, it’s the power of sisterhood that propels the narrative for the series.
Welcome romance and erotica lovers. Let me introduce my new website. There are several things I want to provide for my spice loving readers, occasionally, it will include my opinions about current events and outrageousness. At times I may have comments on certain topics, but I'm only interested in supporting women and not looking to be caught up in the wrong algorithm. For this reason, I'll be using some code words.
I went on a search for least favourite words used in smut. One word stuck, fitting perfectly, because of its zero chance of finding its way in a steamy scene I have ever or ever will write. It's silly and repulsive, and never should be used in a hot, sexy scene. So, if you see the word 'turgid' put in its place a word that starts with 'p' and ends in 'c'. And if I call someone a snallygaster, replace the 'a' with an 'o' and look up the word. That's your homework. My friends south might like this strategy, too. I like this word because it's so ridiculous and suits that group perfectly. Maybe it'll take some of the venom out of the villains we're all facing. Both versions of the word were used in the century that certain turgid members would have us live in.
Most of my blogs will be helpful and not just venting. You’ll find blogs on self-care topics, tips for your side-hustle or home-based business, book reviews, writing and creative ideas. I chose a Canadian web host service for various reasons. A neat bonus is that Canadian web hosts are PIPEDA compliant. But that’s a topic for another time.
It’s a new year and a new turgid environment. What will happen in this complicated era is hard to say. But let’s keep the bonds of sisterhood strong. And sign up to my email list for updates, ARCS, bonus chapters or the chance to spotlight your business/books/projects.
