Dive into Grace’s captivating world where the men are fun, sexy and understanding. Even if you don’t want to marry them, buy a condo and get a Costco membership. Spicy Tales from Grace offer a fun escape or a quick endorphin rush when you need it. These scorching, passionate stories are even for the guys out there that love women and want to up their game.

I’ve had the best time writing Grace’s character, that I still laugh out loud whenever I think of a one-liner alone in the car or out in public. Months before this chaos descended upon our dystopian reality, I penned Jasmin’s declaration of “Buckle up sparkle farts.” Grace’s adaptation of a nursery rhyme that made her giggle like a demented schoolgirl always tickles my funny bone whenever I think of it.

I began reading romance when I discovered it ignited something inside me, giving me energy and serving as a reminder to prioritize self-care. It also had a positive impact on my marriage. I have another blog where I postulate on why Romance (and all related genres) and Erotica are the top sellers in the publishing world today.

Finding stories with characters I could relate to was difficult. I noticed a recurring narrative suggesting that female sexuality is only acceptable when she is in love. Typically, the narrative portrays the female protagonist as virginal or inexperienced, and the male protagonist as a playboy. Additionally, the female main character is often much younger than the male lead, and both characters are usually under thirty. I understand that many of these stories feature people at the beginning of their lives, so I’m not trying to criticize them. Stories where the focus is the smut, and the characters are mature enough to understand their desires are what I wanted. This preference requires no apology from me or you, just as it wouldn’t from a man. As a fellow poster said, at least there are no actors involved.

So, Grace and her true kindred spirit, Jasmin, were born. They operate an online store for women’s ‘self-care’ products and travel to various locations across Canada to sell these 'aides'. This enables them to assist women from different backgrounds and lifestyles, and to create a community of individuals who are passionate about challenging patriarchy. While carrying out their important work, they enjoy sharing a few laughs and, perhaps, a few moments of pleasure with the right partner. The characters I write about are everyday people, some creative, but primarily self-employed. The stories aim to shine a light on the good men who deserve recognition.

I'll release book four soon (I am recording an audio version as well), and the story has evolved into a more intricate narrative than I initially planned. These past two years have taught me the importance of not compromising on women’s liberation. Romance stories are perfect for a healing reading experience, and I will have a few more trad romance stories. But erotica can provide a quick boost of serotonin and empower you to challenge the patriarchy.

As an Indie Author, I face various challenges, especially when my stories deviate from typical tropes. Despite encountering many warnings in blogs, lessons, and TikTok, I often felt that there was a lack of emphasis on sexual equality. This realization led me to fill that gap myself.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy many romance writers, but I’ve observed a trend of similar Female Main Characters of different authors. I craved more varied perspectives - diverse in age, size, background, and goals. Above all, I yearned for stories where women unapologetically pursue their desires, learn to appreciate themselves, relish their own company, and support one another without judgment.
