It’s a new year and we’re going to the chapel! Or rather, other people are and we’re going to sell them the tools and toys necessary to scandalize grandmas around the province during some of the best bridal parties. Unless she’s like my grandma and she could advise any young bride on how to use the toys and grade how effective they are, too.
I love these shows. They’re so much fun. We go to as many as we can. With the inclusion of gay marriages, they have only improved. The best part is - no drama! Except the fun kind. We’re welcome at most of these shows and the ones we aren’t welcome to - well, who wants to go to those, anyway? Certainly not our people.
Not all of our customers use the toys we have and may just browse for a few laughs. I say - have at it. Have all the fun you can have, ask all the questions you want to ask, explore all the curiosities you want; even if it’s only once. Life would be damn near perfect if we could just drop all the bullshit judgments and social expectations. So long as we don’t hurt anyone, I’m a live and let live kind of gal.
Besides, we have something for everyone. Our mood enhancing products sell just as well sometimes. Especially in the winter when life is all about the hot bath and scented candle. So, for bridal shows, we perfectly curate everything to create those romantic, languid nights during one’s honeymoon. And a few sensory displays with a game. You’d be surprised at the number of multi-generational wedding parties visit our booth.
This one is one of the biggest shows of the year and we have a corner booth with extra space, so I really want to go all out. This isn’t like our fairground plans, though. A parlor type setting won’t work, and discretion is not an issue either. It helps sometimes, though, as people often ask us for advice. So, with this in mind, I work on a new floor plan and interactive games we can include to make it a party.
